Bethleham

So, we went to a really cool thing tonight at a local church. It was a live Bethleham village with donkeys, sheep, goats, demon possessed people, Romans Soldiers (what jerks they are!), Mary, Joseph, and one baby Jesus. And...it was the coolest thing. What made it better is that it was snowing and blowing the whole time. It took like twenty minutes to get through this thing and you had a guide who was dressed in the garb of that time. You went in a tent where soldiers yelled at you to pay your taxes...and through a market place which was pretty cool, they had blacksmiths, beggars, harlots and all that neat stuff. Oh and the angel of the lord was actually in up high in something and telling us which way to go. It was really well done and I think we will do it again.

Here are some pics:

After we were done, S goes "where we really in Bethleham?". She worries me.

We did something like that at my church when I was in high school, except we did it at Easter and re-enacted the Easter story. Looks like you guys had fun!
