Ho Hum...

...thats how I feel these days about blogging. Just being honest here. I have been busy though, and just dont seem to have a lot to write about. AND Ive lost 2 followers...what is up with that? I'll blog soon, I hope. I havent been reading blogs lately either, and for that I do apologize. I still like you guys, Im just feeling blah....I'll get back into the swing of things shortly, I think.

GICOE is driving me nuts, but nothing really blog worthy, just being his same ol' clueless self.

I had to fire my daycare lady. I think not being available when dropping children off in the morning is a pretty good reason, dont you? So for now my mom is watching them for the few hours in the morning that the two youngest are usually in daycare. They will still be asleep most of that time too.

L has been helpful and caring around the house lately, even more so than usual. Which is nice.

S is patiently waiting for someone to call us back about signing up for girlscouts (or whatever it is they call it for her age), you would think they would return calls right? Wrong.

A is amazing me with what comes out of his mouth. Yesterday we went to see Karate Kid (which was great, by the way) and we left the house in a hurry, so we wouldnt miss the showing and have to go to a later one. I didnt have time to put any makeup on. So, we are sitting in the theatre, the only ones there, had it all to ourselves. A says:

A: You forgot to put on your makeup
Me: Yes, well, I didnt have time
A: Good thing we are the only ones here.

Thanks a million, kid.

The other day a friend of his, we will call him Josh, was coming over to play. He arrived at our door with his parents and brother, who had driven him over. A answered the door, and upon seeing his friends 10 year old brother, (We will call him Anthony) said to Josh and Anthony's mom:

"You can take Anthony home". In other words, he only wanted to play with Josh. I was horrified, as you can imagine.

I promise, Ill read blogs soon, and maybe even blog on a more regular basis. Hopefully, I'll start feeling it soon.

I was thinking about you recently.... because Steve Carell is leaving The Office and I thought- hey, GICOE might be great at that role! LOL!

One of my boys, when he was four or five, said to his mother, "Mama, you know that easy, breezy beautiful Cover Girl stuff?"

His mother said, "Yes..."

To which he replied, "You should get some of that."

You gotta love 'em.
